I’m Rose, a mid-twenties expat. Previously a resident of central Illinois, I’ve just arrived in Trinidad. The biggest reason for my move is Kevan, a pretty awesome guy who I am marrying next April. I have a lot of adventures in front of me, and I’m trying to let my excitement win out over any fears or worries I have.

I have a feeling that this about page will change all the time. Right now my main focuses are working on my scholarship project(s), job searching, and getting accustomed to life here.

Which one is the real me?

For my own posterity, I am going to keep all of my past goals.

Before I moved here at the end of August 2016, my biggest concerns were about “getting ready to move to a different country,  figuring out visas and international paperwork, and perhaps a bit about my worries and excitement.”
